The holiday season is the time for NAFA's chapters to celebrate the year gone by, to look forward to a promising new year, and to remember those who could not be with us. The Philadelphia Chapter did all three on December 3 at the annual holiday luncheon as they took time to remember Club NAFA alum John "Jack" O'Donnell, who passed away August 7 of this year.
On December 2, NAFA Ontario Chapter hosted an Adverse Conditions and Eco-Driving seminar. The Chapter, in partnership with DriveWise Canada, coordinated the seminar which was designed to be informative and interactive while requiring participation from the attendees.
75 guests attended NAFA's Chicago Chapter Holiday Luncheon, held at Maggiano’s in Schaumburg, IL on December 4. The Chapter took in tasty Italian food, plenty of toys for the Toys For Tots program, and presented a donation to Salute Inc., a charitable organization that provides assistance to members of the armed forces.

Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz has announced that, as part of the City’s ongoing commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the Public Service will make a recommendation to trial and test Automatic Location systems in fleet vehicles. John Ruppert, Ford Motor Company's top fleet executive, will lead its commercial truck division, according to news from Ford on December 9.
