Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is set to issue two separate recalls on over 300,000 Dodge, Jeep, and Ram models because of the potential for some fairly serious safety malfunctions. In the first recall affects several variants of FCA's Ram pickup and Chassis Cab, as well as several newer Dodge Charger Pursuit models because the alternators can wear prematurely and potentially lead to engine fires. The second recall affects over 180,000 Jeep Wranglers because faulty wiring may lead to the air bags not deploying in a crash.
