We need your help to urge Congress to extend the alternative fuels and biodiesel tax credits, which cut the costs of operating a fleet and reduce harmful environmental impacts. Unfortunately, these tax credits expired at the end of 2017. We now have a critical window of opportunity to push Congress to extend these credits through 2022.

NTSB recommended that NHTSA develop a common standard of practice for drug toxicology testing, including the circumstances under which tests should be conducted, a minimum set of drugs for which to test, and cutoff values for reporting the results.

On October 17, 2018, recreational cannabis became legal in Canada. Subject to provincial or territorial restrictions, adults who are 18 years of age or older are legally able to possess up to 30 grams of legal cannabis, buy cannabis products from a provincially-licensed retailer, and grow up to four cannabis plants per residence for personal use. For fleet managers, it should be paramount to inform employees of both the new law and restrictions, especially around impaired driving.
