Insider's Look at City of Stamford's $1 Million Fleet Savings: How They Achieved It, and How You Can, Too (Sponsored by Agile) Time: 12:00 - 1:00 PM EST Date: Wednesday, February 27, 2019
Instructors: Ed Smith, President and CEO, Agile Fleet; and Michael Albanese, Software Applications Manager, Stamford, CT
The City of Stamford was concerned about high fleet costs and lack of metrics to understand vehicle usage and requirements. By relying on fleet technology to help them to efficiently share vehicles, automate maintenance schedules, and collect fleet data to reduce underutilized vehicles, the City stands to save $1 million over five years.
Fleet Manager Mike Scacco will discuss the challenges the City faced before implementing technology, offering details about the steps he took to take the city from having too many underutilized vehicles to saving $1 million. Representatives from Agile Fleet will also take part in the session to offer information regarding the fleet technology in place at the City and how they put it to use to improve efficiency and slash costs.
