NAFA’s I&E brings many fleet leaders and vendors together from around the world. With that volume of travelers, third-party lodging companies, some of which have proven to be scammers, take notice and begin soliciting potential attendees for lodging and travel services. NAFA does not work with or authorize any organizations to use the NAFA or I&E names and logos to solicit attendees for lodging and cautions attendees to be diligent, through several tips.

In the news: The Government of Canada wants zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) to account for 100 percent of new cars sold in 2040, according to a statement made by Transport Minister Marc Garneau.

The Federal Government would like to see ZEVs make up 10 percent of Canadian new vehicle sales by 2025; 30 percent by 2030; and 100 percent by 2040. These targets were communicated without consensus from the provinces or consultation with industry stakeholders.
