NAFA Association News
If you ever wanted to help shape the future of the fleet and mobility industry, or if you aspire to be a leader in this ever-evolving profession, NAFA has a great opportunity for you: a seat on the Board of Directors. Please consider this opportunity and add your nomination before October 1.
NAFA is making a change to its computer-based certification platform. Thanks to feedback from NAFA Members, the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM®) and Certified Automotive Fleet Specialist (CAFS®) testing processes are going fully online this fall. The new testing regimen will significantly improve the convenience of earning your CAFM/CAFS. It’s the same comprehensive content requiring dedicated study time, but with vastly easier testing requirements.
NAFA was an association partner with Bobit Business Media for the 2019 Global Fleet Management Conference, which took place June 4-6 in Miami. To help our members grow in their fleet and mobility roles, we are providing PowerPoint session content from this event, which is available at NAFA's website.

Occasionally, you’ll feel frustrated or inadequate, or unappreciated and your attitude and performance will suffer. These feelings are common and perfectly normal. After all, we’re only human, but when these feelings are overpowering and your passion is wavering, or you’re becoming numb to it all, action must be taken to save you from burning out. Here are three quick steps from Bradley Northup, CAFM, of the County of San Diego, that have helped him keep an even keel.
