While Mercedes-Benz is known for producing luxury sedans and their AMG line of performance vehicles, many may not know that they are also the largest producer of commercial vehicles in the world. Mercedes and parent company Daimler put out some 850,000 commercial and fleet vehicles in 2015 alone, but they aren’t slowing down. The German automaker recently broke ground on its first U.S. van assembly plant it plans to build in Charleston, South Carolina.
