For the second year in a row, NAPA was named an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year.
“NAPA is proud of our industry’s efforts to manage and reduce energy consumption,” said Joseph Shacat, NAPA’s Director, Sustainable Pavements. “Industry participation in ENERGY STAR initiatives reflects the increasing importance of energy efficiency as companies prepare for low embodied carbon procurement and Buy Clean policies.”
NAPA’s industrywide movement toward net zero asphalt pavements gained two more partners, as Rogers Group, Inc. and Legacy Infrastructure Group have signed on as official partners of The Road Forward, NAPA's vision for net zero carbon emission pavements by 2050.
The Road Forward now includes pathways for nonprofit organizations and government agencies to demonstrate our shared commitment to climate goals, alongside NAPA members.
While the standard partner package remains available to NAPA member companies, nonprofits can join the effort at the Supporter level with an annual commitment of $2,500, while an agency can elect to become an Agency Ally at no charge.
In part 2 of Guidelines for Use of Asphalt Overlays to Rehabilitate PCC Pavements, representatives from New Jersey DOT and Pennsylvania DOT will present case studies where they applied techniques such as break and seat, crack and seat, and rubblization to rehabilitate failed concrete pavements.
