The NAPA 2024 Perpetual Pavement Conference is heading to Louisville, Kentucky Oct. 28-30 for a series of discussions on long-lasting pavements at the intersection of taxpayer stewardship and engineering innovation. NAPA is seeking Producer members to renew or join the Advisory Council as State Advisors in 17 states: Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, and Rhode Island. Service begins Jan. 1, 2025. All nominations must be submitted by Monday, Sept. 30.
NAPA joins the friends and family of Edward Thomas Harrigan in mourning his passing on Sept. 4, 2024. Harrigan previously served as Assistant Director of the Asphalt Institute, Vice President of Research, and Testing for Advanced Asphalt Technologies, and Senior Program Officer for the Strategic Highway Research Program. A memorial service is scheduled for Sept. 18.
