Registration is open for the World of Asphalt Show & Conference running March 25-27 in St. Louis, Missouri. “World of Asphalt is where our industry comes together to share the latest innovations across the paving ecosphere – technology, equipment, employee relations, business solutions, paving best practices, and AI,” said NAPA President & CEO Audrey Copeland.
The Airport Asphalt Pavement Technology Program (AAPTP) is conducting a project to develop standards to optimize the use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) in airfield asphalt pavements.
An early task in this process is to identify airports that have used RAP in asphalt mixtures in runways, aprons, or other airside pavements. Complete and submit this survey by Nov. 6.
NAPA Director of Pavement Engineering & Innovation Jean-Paul Fort will moderate a three-part series of webinars on airfield paving starting Nov. 15.
Register now for each session:
The International Conference on the Decarbonization of Asphalt Pavements aims to explore innovative solutions and best practices for reducing the carbon footprint associated with asphalt pavements. Researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts are invited to submit abstracts by Nov. 27.
The event provides an unparalleled platform for sharing research findings, discussing challenges, and networking with global leaders committed to sustainable pavement technologies.
Following a day-and-a-half of general sessions, technical presentations, and workshops, the 2024 Perpetual Pavement Conference wrapped with the presentation of two awards. Season 8 of Pave It Black, NAPA's official podcast explores technology and the people in the asphalt pavement industry who are using it to improve road construction.
Richard and Brett discuss the present and future of the industry and how technology stands to enhance the way work is done.
NAPA members are beginning to see the end of the 2024 paving season drawing near, meaning fall deadlines are approaching for a handful of programs:
NAPA brought together stakeholders from across the industry to discuss the past, present, and future of long-lasting pavements at the Perpetual Pavement Conference last week.
Optimizing HMA Aggregate Packing & Paving Operations on Dec. 11 will highlight the correlation between improved lubricity and reduced temperatures during the asphalt production process. Sponsored by Honeywell, this session will present the critical role of functionalized low molecular weight polyolefin as a lubricant. |
