Learn about opportunities to lower the carbon footprint at asphalt pavement companies during a free NAPA webinar on Dec. 18. Sustainable Operations Assessment will explore the different ways companies can report and reduce their footprint, including renewable energy credits (RECs) and carbon offsets.
Volunteers and donors from across the country, including NAPA members, came together to support a Kentucky family in Lincoln County that had a challenging 2024. The Allen Company stepped up as part of the project, working with ATS Construction to donate 300 tons of asphalt and supporting Gaddie-Shamrock crews that paved the 20-acre plot’s 600-foot driveway.
NAPA joins the friends and family of Mike Henningsen in mourning his passing last week. Henningsen was the third generation to lead Henningsen Construction in Western Iowa. He served multiple terms on the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa Board of Directors, including as president, and was inducted into the APAI Hall of Fame in 2015.
He had a passion for aviation, particularly vintage aircraft like his beloved Big Beautiful Doll P-51 and T-6.
