The NAPA 2025 Midyear Meeting heads to Kentucky this summer, bringing asphalt pavement industry stakeholders to Louisville to network, discuss challenges, and plan for the future.

Running midweek from Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11, the NAPA Midyear itinerary also includes time to explore the Bluegrass State via optional activities, including everything from bouldering and bargain-hunting to BMX and bourbon.

 
 

 
America’s future prosperity is tied to the future of its infrastructure, writes NAPA Vice President for Government Affairs Nile Elam in an Op-Ed for The Washington Times.
 
“As Congress prepares to draft the next highway package before current funding expires Sept. 30, 2026, the conversation around the future of American infrastructure is more urgent than ever,” Elam said in his piece, which appeared as part of a special section by the Times titled “Securing America’s future by prioritizing infrastructure.

NAPA’s Government Affairs team attended a Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee hearing on April 2 where Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy opened his remarks by noting how infrastructure funding is a bipartisan issue.

“Infrastructure is bipartisan. It’s one of the unique spaces in our government where we all work together because our roads and bridges, our airplanes, our airports, the safety of our cars — is a bipartisan American issue, not a red or blue issue," Duffy said at the beginning of the hearing.
