"My incredible journey gave me a unique opportunity to work with extraordinary women in STEM across the globe. I realized that despite our vast cultural differences we share a strong belief in that while professional women have made great strides, we still have many challenges to overcome. 

I started this company out of my own frustration, working in a manufacturing environment where the only options were bulky, manly work boots. What you wear has a major impact on your self-confidence, which in turn impacts a number of other job-related factors, including performance, promotability, and long-term career success.

I knew that a more versatile category of workwear was needed and decided to shake-up the stagnant industry of manufacturers who did not understand or care about our needs. For over two years I dedicated myself to shoe-craft, going through the rigorous development and testing process.  Now as an official ASTM Committee Board Member. I promise to capture women’s needs and help shape the future of Safety and Footwear regulations so they can meet OUR needs.

Freedom of Expression

Professional women who need functional workwear should have the freedom to dress for success with poise and confidence. Our products empower and help women bring their femininity to work. We hope that this new category of expressive workwear will help create influential female role models who will encourage a new generation of girls to pursue careers in STEM.

Eco Footprints Matter

We are all stewards of the earth and staying true to this idea, we are taking steps toward ecological sustainability with our manufacturing. For safety purposes, the use of leather is a necessity, but we seek to minimize our impact. We found a responsible way to source our high-quality leather, only working with LWG-certified partners who share our passion for water conservation and pollution prevention.

Safety as a Craft

We inject design-thinking into personal protective equipment (PPE) so that women don’t have to make a choice between looking their best and being safe on the job. Each one of our products is meticulously designed and put through rigorous safety testing at a certified lab. At the end of the day, everything we make is both beautiful and ASTM approved / OSHA compliant.
