As the leaves start to fall and we transition into autumn, let’s ensure our safety standards
stay high. September brings unique challenges, and staying vigilant is key.

  • Weather Watch
     - As temperatures fluctuate, stay updated on weather forecasts. Prepare for
    cooler days and potential rain.
  • Fall Prevention
     - Fall leaves might be picturesque but falls on the job site are not. Keep
walkways clear of debris and use caution on surfaces that may be slippery.
  • Inspect Equipment
     - With seasonal changes, ensure all equipment is inspected.
  • Visibility Matters
     - Days are getting shorter. Check that all safety and warning lights are
    functioning properly.
  • Fall Allergens
     - September can trigger allergies for some. Be aware of allergens like ragweed
and mold. Keep allergy medication on hand.
  • Emergency Preparedness
     - As we move into storm season, make sure everyone is familiar with
emergency procedures. Know the location of emergency exits, shelters, and
    first aid kits.
  • Training Refresh
     - Reinforce safety protocols with your team. Provide refresher training on fall
prevention, emergency response, and any specific hazards.
