Education / Training
NEF is solely supported by sponsorships and donations and its Ladder Club of Success offers individuals the opportunity to support NEF with one-time or reoccurring automatic donations. Your financial support educates others through various programs and construction industry education courses. Fundraising is also done by NEF Fundraising Liaisons at a Regional and Chapter level.
You are invited to participate in Mental Health Awareness Training, funded by a MIOSHA CET grant and delivered live via Microsoft Teams webinar. This session is specifically designed for construction industry professionals, aiming to increase awareness of mental health and well-being among workers, superintendents, managers, employers, and others in the field.
Trainees who participate in and complete the whole training will receive a digital certificate.
"The Talking Heads released Once in a Lifetime way back in 1981. I remember it being played on the radio – no Spotify, no Pandora, no Apple Music. If you wanted to hear a song, you had to buy the LP or wait for the DJ to bring it back into the rotation. This is an admission to being old or at least being stuck between the end of the Baby Boom generation and the beginning of the Gen X." Click the link below to read more from Michael.
