Join the Tradeswomen Committee and The Safety Rack on Wednesday, January 23rd while they discuss and review the findings from the “Equity in Safety: A Global Report on Women’s Access to Proper PPE” from the “MyBodyMyPPE” April 2024 Campaign. During the webinar, speakers Amy Roosa and DeIla Ray will discuss the unique PPE needs for women, the #MyBodyMyPPE Campaign survey results, and the strides being made to close this gap in equity for women in their field of work.
In an industry often dominated by traditional roles and stereotypes, women in construction face unique challenges. The NAWIC Dakota Prairies Chapter #394 recently hosted a Turkey Bingo Fundraiser at Miss Kitty's in Henry, SD, raising over $6,000 for the Beacon Center. The event featured $1 Bingo games, turkey bowling, a turkey raffle, a live auction, a bake sale, and a 50/50 raffle. Attendees also participated in a toy drive, earning free Bingo cards for their contributions.
