Lauri joined the NAWIC team in 2007. In her day to day, she is responsible for monitoring our database and assisting any members or staff members with database issues. She designs, monitors and updates items on the National website and is currently working on adding information to the new mobile app and is looking forward to the assistance that it will provide members. Her favorite part about working for NAWIC is seeing all of the awesome career paths that our members choose to pursue.

In middle school, our twins began lobbying for cell phones. In 2013, we still had no real sense of the future impact of cell phones, more specifically, smart phones. Our family joke – the kids did not appreciate it – was that we would get them a phone to share and that we would purchase a Jitterbug. It was as basic as basic could get. It was a phone. No texting. No internet. No social media. Just a phone.
