Association News
Crissy began working at NAWIC in 2012 as an administrative assistant and then moved to bookkeeper before she was promoted to executive director in 2019. Her day to day gets busy as she is responsible for directing and administering all programs, operations, and policies, oversees staff, works with industry partners, and manages the annual budget. Her favorite part about working for NAWIC is how fulfilling it is to work for an association whose mission she truly believes in.
This leadership conversation will discuss strategies for engaging and collaborating with stakeholders and how a deliberate and thoughtful approach can enhance strategic and project outcomes while developing skills critical to project leadership & success. NAWIC National DEI Committee is resource to NAWIC members, other women in the industry and industry allies to promote and advocate for DEI efforts that will set forth change within our association and our industry. Click "Learn more" for more information on the DE&I pillars.

Education / Training
I have said this to myself at different points in my career. You may have done the same. A colleague gets a promotion that would have been a perfect fit for you. A co-worker returns from a conference that you wanted to attend. Your manager tells you about a new professional development program that you were not included in. The reactions can include anger, despondency, disappointment and lead to withdrawal and disengagement.
NEF is solely supported by sponsorships and donations and its Ladder Club of Success offers individuals the opportunity to support NEF with one-time or reoccurring automatic donations. Your financial support educates others through various programs and construction industry education courses. Fundraising is also done by NEF Fundraising Liaisons at a Regional and Chapter level.
