Annual Conference registration is open. Register today and save. You won't want to miss all the education, networking, and fun in Houston. Don't forget to sign up for the NEF CDT and CPR/ AED courses when you register!
Is your chapter interested in having a table at the Construction Zone in Houston this year? Click the link below for more information and to fill out your reservation form. Only a few spots remain for the CPR/AED course at conference this year. If you have not registered for conference but plan to, course registration is available on your conference registration form. If you have registered for conference but did not sign up for the course, please contact laurim@nawic.org to sign up.
With this year's theme being Keys to the Future, NAWIC wants to provide the resources for students to succeed. NAWIC will be accepting school supplies that will be donated to the Houston Independent School District and all supplies will be presented at NAWIC's 69th Annual Conference.
If you are attending Annual Conference, supplies will be accepted onsite. If you are NOT attending, donations have to be sent to the NAWIC National office by July 16. Click the link below to donate.
Education / Training
I frequently hear people misuse or, at least, not fully understand the difference between introversion and extroversion. Most are not even aware of the concept of ambiversion. What do most assume? NEF is solely supported by sponsorships and donations and its Ladder Club of Success offers individuals the opportunity to support NEF with one-time or reoccurring automatic donations. Your financial support educates others through various programs and construction industry education courses. Fundraising is also done by NEF Fundraising Liaisons at a Regional and Chapter level.

Natasha Davis has been in the construction business for more than a decade. She created Black Ladies of Construction, also known as the “BLOC Foundation” — a full-service construction company that also offers an education component to help more women, minorities, veterans and high school dropouts find their way into the field.
