How contractor streamlined fleet operations with a smart fuel card

Education / Training
 
NEF is solely supported by sponsorships and donations and its Ladder Club of Success offers individuals the opportunity to support NEF with one-time or reoccurring automatic donations. Your financial support educates others through various programs and construction industry education courses. Fundraising is also done by NEF Fundraising Liaisons at a Regional and Chapter level.

The Chapter Development Committee has been very busy this year talking to women about potentially chartering a chapter and setting up a formal Chapter Leadership training program. This year we chartered 3 new chapters (Dakota Prairies, Vermont and North Alabama). We have also talked with 21 potential chapters that are in various stages. A subcommittee that will be part of Chapter Development next year is Post Chartering led by Amber Kohut, Membership Coordinator to assist new chapters get off the ground, grow and lead in their first few years. In addition to chartering chapters, we set up a formal chapter leadership training program that will also become a subcommittee of Chapter Development next year.  Chapter Leadership Training can be tailored to any Chapter’s needs.

The National Association of Women in Construction’s 69th Annual Conference, brought 596 women from all areas of the construction industry to Houston, Texas, August 14-17. This year the conference took us to Houston, Texas.
