Diversity in the Workplace
Nordstrom has reached 100% pay equity for employees of all genders and races, the company announced last week. The store said this milestone means that it provides equal pay for comparable work, which it believes is "essential to creating an environment where every employee feels valued and respected." The French transit ministry has proposed an "eco-tax" and is pushing for taxing jet fuel on international flights.
