Consider these tips as you look to move your career forward:

Be social.
Your classmates, colleagues or coworkers may have a connection at your potential dream job so keep those relationships fresh. More than half of all hirings happen through networking!

Be proactive.
Take initiative. Prospective employers appreciate motivated candidates that show ambition during and after the interview process. Do research and follow up.

Be real.
Recruiters can sense authenticity. If you aren’t your true self, the interviewer may not get a sense of whether you’re the best possible fit for each other.
