As described by YOU, the attendees, here are the top three breakout sessions from the #NEHRA2015 Conference!
Insights into Improving Interactions, with Maura Snow
Maura brought her expertise in leadership development to help participants improve their collaborative skills. Participants, when asked what stuck with them the most, referenced the unique approach to Maura's interactive style exercise and the learned ability to recognize differences in interactions they may face.
You Already Know How to Be Great Practicum: A Companion Workshop to the Alan Fine Keynote, with Alan Fine
Everyone remembers Alan’s wonderful opening keynote at the 2015 Conference, and this follow-up session addressed his GROW Model in finer detail. Participants in this session highly valued the coaching styles Alan discussed, and attendees intend to bring these topics and techniques back to the workplace to share with senior leadership.
HR Challenge: Hiring Veterans, moderated by Michael Dunford
2015 Erdlen Founder’s Award winner Michael Dunford spent little time resting on his laurels at the 2015 Conference, as first thing on Friday morning following the awards dinner, he hosted this outstanding panel. Consisting of six former military personnel, Mike led an hour-long discussion on sourcing, on-boarding and integrating veterans to the civilian workforce, and participants left empowered to help other veterans seeking work by bringing some of the panel’s commentary back to the office with them.Did you miss #NEHRA2015?
