The 2016 NEHRA Annual Conference has taken its final form - the full program is available online here. Register today!
This year's conference is shaping up to be an incredible experience! With keynote presentations from the Director of the Leadership Institute David Rock, President & CEO of Clockwork Media Nancy Lyons, and Boston Marathon bombing survivor (and Raytheon Employee Relations Manager) Heather Abbott, there will be no shortage of opportunities for personal and professional development.
Networking with your northeast HR colleagues at #NEHRA2016 doesn't get any better! "The Annual Conference provides great networking opportunities - both formal, through the speed-networking session on Thursday morning, and informal, at the many session breaks and receptions," writes Sue Cann, one of NEHRA's Conference Committee Co-Chairs, who along with the rest of the Committee helped to select sessions on this year's program. "Over the years, I have found the Conference an invaluable way to catch up with old friends and business associates, as well as to meet new ones." There's another morning session on networking, titled "Navigating A Room" presented by Kim Littlefield of Keystone Partners, that will serve as a great launching point to a week full of friends new and old.
The Breakout sessions are sure to fuel your growth through engaging topics of mindfulness, leadership, and many others. Recruiting tips and tricks, the importance of proactive diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employing analytics to your HR strategy are just some of the many breakout session topics. Says NEHRA Conference Committee Member Heather Germain of PSG Staffing:
Don't miss out on this great conference! We hope to see you on the Cape in September — but you can't come unless you register!"I’m particularly looking forward to Maureen Crawford Hentz’s presentation on Wednesday afternoon. I always get the most value and enjoyment out of hearing personal case studies from local companies doing cool stuff! A personal connection of mine has actually worked with Chesterton for many years and has been raving about the employee engagement initiatives they’ve put into place so when I saw Maureen’s proposal come through I was excited to get her insight on what they’ve put together and how she was able to get senior managers on board. I’m also looking forward to Thursday night - who doesn’t love a good 80’s party?!"
