Nowhere is this more apparent than with the workforce and internal employee communications.

• St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children’s offers a transitional, subsidized jobs program at its site in Dorchester that serves 50 low income women annually who are Massachusetts residents.
• The transitional jobs model offers women who have been unsuccessful in employment the opportunity to increase skill development, learn real work and technical skills, develop a work history, and acquire references for future career building.
• The model is enhanced by supportive services through intensive case management, and on-the job supervision.
