From a client and candidate perspective in the current job market, both sides need to be transparent with one another during the hiring process. Qualified candidates are going to have multiple opportunities to consider, and in turn have multiple offers on which to make decisions. Clients are no different, as they will have a large pool of candidates in consideration for all openings. The need to be transparent with one another is important to ensure that the hiring process is moving forward in a positive direction and not becoming bogged down due to lack of communication. Constant contact and updates allow both parties to consider one another throughout the process and eliminate missed opportunities for hires.
