President's Message

Welcome to September! By the time this edition of the NEHES Digest is published, we’ll be in the midst of our first ever Virtual Fall Conference! I hope you are participating and enjoying the great sessions and virtual networking opportunities. If you registered for the conference, you’ll be able to access the content after the event is complete, so you can watch the breakout sessions you might have missed and gain access to excellent educational content.

 The great educational content does not end with the Fall Conference. The State Chapters have teamed up to offer educational webinars which will be open to all NEHES members. These webinars will be held every month. This provides additional educational opportunities to all NEHES Members! I also hope you have signed up for the 7th Annual Fall Motorcycle Rider & Fall Foliage Tour. It is going to be a great ride this year, and you will not want to miss it. You have the option to join us for up to 3 days of riding on beautiful Cape Cod. Thank you to Paul Cantrell for once again organizing the ride. There’s still time to sign up on the NEHES Website.

As we head into fall, and hopefully some cooler weather, we are starting to plan the 2021 Spring Seminar and Fall Conference. I am looking forward to being able to gather in person and share experiences from the pandemic response. Each of us has faced many challenges during the past several months, and our ability to adapt and learn from those experiences will be great stories to share. As always, the innovation, creativity, and can-do spirit of NEHES Members inspires each of us to meet these challenges and others in the future.
