Reaghan Schicker, AIA, ACHA, Manager of PD+C Facilities, CT Children’s Medical Center
Chapter Representative, Connecticut Healthcare Engineers’ Society (CHES)

Reaghan has spent five years in the Planning, Design + Construction Facilities department at CT Children’s, starting as a Project Manager and working up to Senior Manager over the department in a short time. She successfully leads a team of facilities and project managers including several critical support departments. Responsibilities include both project and organization management, including staffing, operations and budgeting. For years, Reaghan has overseen the planning, design and construction of the hospital’s new construction and renovations, including the new patient care tower, slated to open in 2025. There is significant responsibility at Connecticut Children’s over this time when the project requires countless hours of responsibility. Projects of significant importance to her organization, and the state, include their Medical/Psychiatric Integrated Care Unit in early 2024.

Reaghan has served as Chapter Representative of the CT Chapter of NEHES for five years and has played a significant role in the growth of the Chapter. In March 2024, Reaghan has stepped in as a key representative of CHES due to board changes and has continued to commit to the Society.  She has organized and presented lessons learned from projects, held formal presentations at CHES as well as other national ASHE events. She continually accepts additional responsibility. Reaghan’s experience and knowledge has been a great asset to CHES and our members.
