Why did you join NEHES?
A few of my coworkers encouraged me to join NEHES. The available education opportunities have broadened my knowledge and have made me more confident in my role.

What would you say to encourage someone to join NEHES?
Being a member is easy and is so rewarding. There are a number of topics available to educate yourself in. NEHES has many scholarship opportunities available to make education available to all. In my experience, the NEHES members I have met and have interacted with are all welcoming and are very easy to talk to.

Benefits of NEHES
The learning opportunities have been the biggest benefit from my NEHES membership. A large part of my job is code review. I have learned a lot from presentations at my local chapter meetings as well as the larger Spring and Fall Seminars. The people I have met and the business relationships I have gained as a member have proven to be a valuable resource in my career. Having the opportunity to hear members speak of events they have encountered, lessons learned from projects they have completed or emergencies they have experienced have all benefited me immensely.
