Happy New Year, NEHES Members! 2021 will barely have started when you receive this, but I have no doubt it is a year full of change and opportunity. I hope each of you enjoyed the holiday season and were able to spend time to recharge and refocus.

As we look forward to 2021, the NEHES Board is ready to meet the challenges and is committed to bringing you the finest educational programs during the Spring Meeting, the Fall Conference and the new Chapter Webinar Series. Board members have already been working on initiatives to ensure NEHES meets the Strategic Goals set for this year.

I am excited to work with the 2021 NEHES Board of Directors, and you’ll be introduced to them in another article of this edition. If you have an idea for us to consider, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We appreciate any input you would like to provide.

I want to thank each of you for all you do each day to support NEHES and our profession. In addition to those who serve on the Board, it takes many volunteers to ensure the programs NEHES offers are successful. The Board alone cannot do it without your support. I am constantly in awe of the work done by our NEHES members each day. Your dedication, commitment and determination are exceptional and much appreciated! It is my honor to serve this year as the President of NEHES.

I look forward to a great year and I know that with your support and the support of the 2021 NEHES Board of Directors that is exactly what it will be.

 Take care and be safe,

Cole Teague, MBA, CHFM, CHC
NEHES 2020 President
