Apply Now for the Energy to Care Awards

NEHES has joined the ASHE Energy to Care Chapter Challenge! Hospitals across New England are competing with other ASHE chapters in working to reduce their energy usage year over year.

In preparation for the April 1 deadline, we are looking for five or more NEHES member facilities that are tracking data through Energy Star Portfolio Manager to join together for the ASHE Energy to Care Chapter Challenge. If successful, NEHES will achieve Platinum Elite status through ASHE for the 2024 calendar year by highlighting the amazing work many of you are doing in the space of building efficiency.

If your facility is not fully integrated into the Energy Star Portfolio Manager program but is interested in learning how, we are working on developing an informational session for the Spring Seminar on April 5 that covers best practices for beginning the integration and troubleshooting some common difficulties.

Facilities that volunteer will automatically be entered into the Energy to Care awards program for their individual facility.

Follow the five steps below to participate in Energy to Care and take advantage of your complimentary Energy to Care Dashboard:

1. Benchmark your data. Portfolio Manager^® | How-To | Video
2. Connect your Portfolio Manager account with ASHE and share your data. How-To PDF | Energy to Care Dashboard
3. Follow the same instructions as in Step 2 and share your data with NEHES.
4. Email Energy Star Username to Helpdesk when sharing step is complete. Helpdesk
5. If you wish to share your Energy to Care Data with individuals outside of your organization, the Energy to Care Organization Administrator must complete this form and submit to ASHE energytocare@aha.org. ASHE will provide access to the account once this form has been received.

Please update your data for the data release due date of April 1, 2024.
