NEHES has a limited number of $1,000 scholarships available to attend their Fall Conference, Sept. 18-21, 2022 in Portland, Maine. We want to provide Members, with limited resources, an opportunity to attend the conference and take advantage of educational and networking offerings.

In addition to a $1,000 scholarship for hotel costs, the scholarship will include:

  • 2022 conference registration fee,
  • CHFM prep course review entry,
  • Golf tournament entry,
  • Gala ticket.

13 NEHES Members  |  6 States  |  $26,050
NEHES was able to facilitate 13 NEHES members from 6 states to the ASHE Annual Conference in Boston.  They were able to take advantage of 3 days of networking, education and socializing with fellow NEHES members along with many, many ASHE members who traveled to experience the same.

NEHES will also be offering scholarships to the Fall Conference in Portland, Maine in September. Check out the information and submit your application today!

Between July 17, 2022 and July 20, 2022 The American Society for Healthcare Engineers held the 2022 ASHE Annual Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. The New England Healthcare Engineers Society was proud to be the host chapter for this event. Highlights of the event include:

  • Four NEHES board members in attendance at the Chapter Leadership Forum,
  • NEHES offering scholarships that allowed 13 active members to attend the conference,
  • Mark Robinson of NEHES and the MHFPS awarded the ASHE Regional Leader Award for Region 1,
  • The NEHES board hosting the ASHE board on Boston Harbor dinner cruise,
  • NEHES sponsoring a toy drive for Shriners Hospital for Children – Boston raising over $4,000 plus donations of new toys,
  • NEHES awarded a host chapter award for contributions to the 59th ASHE Annual,
  • NEHES awarded the Platinum Elite Chapter Award, the highest chapter award designated by ASHE.

In related news NEHES has set aside a fund for scholarships to the Fall Conference as well, so be on the lookout for more information. In addition, the donations for Shriners Hospital for Children – Boston remain active and can be found here. Feel free to give, and thank you for your support. NEHES will be hosting a similar toy drive at the Fall Conference to be held in Portland, Maine this year Sept. 18-21 with more information to come.
