Volunteers Wanted
The National Joint TERT Initiative is a partnership between NENA and APCO dedicated to the promotion of Telecommunicator Emergency Response Taskforce (TERT) programs that satisfy deployable status criteria for telcommunicator mutual aid response during disasters. NJTI is currently accepting letters of interest for appointment to the 2018 NJTI national committee. The 2018 service term runs from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. Consideration for appointment to subsequent terms is discretionary on the part of the appointee, NJTI co-chairs, and NJTI co-managers. Interested parties should submit a resume and brief statement (one or two paragraphs) summarizing their interest in this vital mutual aid program for 9-1-1. Submissions should be sent via e-mail in PDF format to the two national co-chairs at cahrens@cjtc.state.wa.us and ddemar@monroecounty.gov. The deadline for submissions is November 15, 2017.
