Manager of Membership
Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA)
I recently attended NE/SAE’S Annual Management Conference and, as always, the topics were timely and up-to-date! Being a manager of membership, engaging and retaining members is my top priority. Scott Oser’s session of Re-Engaging Lapsed Members was of high interest to me. I came away with a lot of great ideas for getting former members back into my association. One suggestion that I can easily implement is to personally reach out to lapsed members, starting with a mailed letter listing the advancements and changes my association has made in the time the member left, and then following-up with a personal phone call.
