NFPA 1917 Ambulance Standard Approved

The NFPA 1917 Standard for Automotive Ambulances received final approval at the annual meeting in Las Vegas on June 14, 2012. The standard, effective for ambulances built after January 1, 2013, will replace the Federal KKK Ambulance Purchasing Guide and is expected to be published shortly by the NFPA.
