Nate Shakerly Saluted for His Service to Our Country

Nate Shakerly, a fire service veteran and an employee of the family-operated Shakerly Fire Truck Sales, a division of V.R.S. Sales, Ltd., was honored by the company during the NYSAFC Annual Conference & FIRE 2012 Expo last June at the Turning Stone.

Nate is serving the United States as a member of the 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry, a regiment of the New York Army National Guard, and was deployed to Afghanistan.

Throughout FIRE 2012, attendees and fellow exhibitors could sign a notebook that would be shared with Nate, offering words of encouragement and gratitude for his service to our country.

V.R.S. Sales of Round Lake, N.Y. is a full service and sales facility offering custom fire apparatus in eastern New York and Vermont.

Nate is the inside truck sales and contract administrator for V.R.S. Sales, as well as a 19-year veteran of the fire service. NYSAFC salutes Nate for his service.
