Severe Respiratory Virus Confirmed in New York

The Enterovirus D68 that has sickened kids across the Midwest has arrived in New York state, according to officials from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and New York State Department of Health.
The EV-D68 virus causes respiratory symptoms and in some children, has required hospitalization for difficulty breathing and wheezing.
