OFPC, NYACT, & NICB Vehicle Arson Awareness Program at FIRE 2015

Register now for the OFPC, NYACT, & NICB Vehicle Arson Awareness Program, which will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY! There is no charge for this training, which will take place in Cypress Room C. Special registration is required.  

Developed by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention & Control (OFPC) in conjunction with the New York State Anti Car Theft & Fraud Association (NYACT) and National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), this program will provide participants with an overview of the consequences of vehicle arson, a brief familiarity with vehicle system components, and common causes of vehicle fires. Participants will learn the common signs and indications that a vehicle fire may have been intentionally set and apply that knowledge in an observational exercise.   All attendees will receive a certificate of completion from OFPC.
