EMT Certification Verification
The Federation of Associations of Regulatory Board’s (FARB) license verification website now includes EMTs in all but 12 states. Yup, you are psychic – New York is one of the 12. However, you can look up an EMS certification if you have access to the New York State Health Commerce System (which you can get through your county public health peeps).
EMS Educator Richard Beebe Dies
Richard Beebe, EMT and paramedic textbook author, paramedic educator, and well-known conference speaker died on June 5, 2016, from complications following a motorcycle crash. Rich’s family and friends remembered his many years of service at a recent memorial. More information on his last call and an obituary are posted here.
