Documentary: "Not My Addiction"
EMS World has released a video created and filmed by Saratoga Springs native Ray Kemp that shares insightful stories of four recovering heroin addicts. The strain on fire and EMS responders burdened with ever increasing numbers of overdoses is unprecedented and can easily lead to burn out. NFPA Ambulance Standard Revisions
The NFPA 1917 Standard for Automotive Ambulances will reissue in revised format on April 23, 2018. Revisions include standards for rechassis of existing ambulances and clarification of safety equipment. The revised document is available for preview here.
