DOH Vital Signs Academy Goes Live
The Bureau of EMS has launched its online academy, initially offering an online review of the new NYS BLS Protocols. Each region will decide when the new protocols will be implemented, but all providers need to do the online review. To establish an account and begin using the new site, click here.
CMS Releases New Ambulance Reference
If you have not seen it yet, CMS released an updated version of its Medicare Learning Network (MLN) booklet, Ambulance Fee Schedule and Medicare Transports. The booklet, which provides an up-to-date reference on ambulance transport and billing for Medicare patients, is available here.
