Recruiting for EMS Fatigue Study
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking EMS and fire/EMS departments with 50 to 300 members for a federally funded study on sleep and fatigue. The study will be led by Dr. Daniel Patterson, a well-respected firefighter, paramedic, and researcher who has been the lead researcher on two recent EMS fatigue studies. CDC COVID Data Map
The Centers for Disease Control have assembled a COVID cases web-based map and reporting system that allows users to review COVID cases, deaths, and demographics of patients by state and county. Healthcare worker infections are also broken out. The map is available here.
