Confusion on OSHA Proposed Workplace Safety Rules
The proposed OSHA Workplace Safety Rules have been many years in development with participation by multiple national fire and EMS organizations. Recently, the USFA interviewed OSHA to clean up misconceptions and lay out the actual history and projected roll out of the proposed regs. This 37-minute video is well worth watching.
Revised NYS EMS Protocols Take Effect July 1
DOH finally published revised 2024 BLS and ALS Protocols (available here). And, if you are wondering what precisely has changed, Policy Statement #24-02 outlines the revisions to the ALS Collaborative Protocols and Policy Statement #24-01 lists everything new and different in the 2024 BLS Protocols.
