The first of two NYSAFC Company Officers Leadership Training (COLT) programs is coming up during the first week of December in Westchester County. On-site registration for this event is available! The second program will be offered in spring 2011 in Erie County.
Company officers are often responsible for the day-to-day operations of their departments and it is critical that their training be of the highest caliber. These individuals also represent the future of fire service leadership. To safeguard that future, NYSAFC offers the COLT program.
During both sessions, practical and inspiring guidance will be offered by an impressive slate of nationally recognized experts. Both COLT programs will feature: Lieutenant Michael Ciampo – FDNY "Through the Windshield – Through the Truck Officer’s Eyes," Chief James Clack – Baltimore (MD) Fire Department "Minneapolis Responds – The Interstate 35W Bridge Collapse," Coordinator of Fire Instruction Michael Healy – Rockland County Fire Training Center & Firefighter Robert LaGrow – FDNY "The Engine Company Officer," and NYS Instructor/Retired Deputy Chief Paul Melfi – National Fallen Firefighters Foundation "Leadership Safety for the 21st Century."
Westchester County – December 3-4, 2010 @ Hilton Rye Town – Rye Brook, NY
Erie County – April 1-2, 2011 @ Embassy Suites Buffalo – Buffalo, NY
Registration Fee: $150 (NYSAFC Individual & Department Members) / $175 (Non-Members)
