Codes Training Available at FIRE 2011

The NYSAFC Codes Committee is pleased to announce the Codes Committee Training Program available at the NYSAFC 105th Annual Conference & FIRE 2011 Expo on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Training will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY.
Those completing the program can earn eight hours of Code Enforcement Credit from the New York State Codes Division or 0.8 CEUs from the AIA. The program will include:
Chapter 17 Structural Tests & Special Inspections (two hours)
with Senior Building Construction Engineer Brian Tollisen, P.E.,
New York State Department of State Division of Code Enforcement & Administration
Commercial Hood & Grease Ducts (four hours)
with Bob Guenther, International Code Council (ICC)
Fire Safety During Construction & Demolition (two hours)
with President Christopher J. Dunn, CFPS, Finger Lakes Risk Control, Inc.
Registration for the program is $91 per person. This includes a continental breakfast, lunch, break refreshments, and a copy of the 2009 book IMC Design Installation & Inspection Principles, plus three One Day Passes for the FIRE 2011 expo (valid for entry to exhibits only, June 16–18, at Turning Stone Resort).
