Calling All NYS Fire Departments: Open Your Doors and Join the RecruitNY Campaign

New York’s statewide fire service associations and organizations understand how vital recruitment is to the volunteer fire service. We need your help to make recruitment efforts a success. It’s going to take everyone’s participation to reverse the recent decline in the number of people volunteering.
RecruitNY, initiated by the Fireman’s Association of the State of New York and supported by project partners the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs, Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York, Volunteer Fire Police Association of New York, and County Fire Coordinators’ Association of the State of New York, was developed to assist New York state fire departments in recruitment endeavors.
This statewide recruitment initiative will be held on April 9-10, 2011.
