NYSAFC Department Members to Receive Books

Is your fire department a Department Member of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs? If so, you should be happy to know that your department will be receiving a special membership benefit item this spring.

Volunteer fire department members will receive a copy of Volunteer Training Drills by Howard A. Chatterton. This manual consists of a full year's supply of weekly training drills. This is an excellent tool for any volunteer department that wants to effectively train and maintain the skills of its firefighters.

Career fire department members will receive a copy of The Fire Chief’s Tool Box by Ron Graner. This book will provide any career fire chief with the necessary information to successfully grow and become a stronger leader and administrator.
