What is a firefighter to do? The buildings aren’t built to withstand a fire condition for more than five minutes. The carcinogens contained in the by-products of combustion are killing us 20 years after the event. How does an incident commander make the right decision strategically and tactically that provides for a reduced risk to a firefighter? This presentation will discuss the new health and welfare risks to firefighters and the incident commander.
Memorial Service (11:00 a.m.):
Join NYSAFC as we pay tribute to our deceased members during this moving ceremony, a longstanding Annual Conference tradition.
