There is no debating that last year New York state had its fair share of natural disasters. From Broome County to the Adirondacks, storms like Irene and Lee took their toll on residents and entire neighborhoods, villages, and towns.

Long ago but not forgotten, these towns still struggle to rebuild. Equipment to handle the devastation is still needed and appreciated. NYSAFC’s "Helping Our Own" equipment donations program feature on our website allows for posting and browsing of equipment by zip code. If your department has surplus equipment or apparatus to donate, please visit the site to make it available to those in need right here at home.
