Rockland County Volunteer Firemen's Association Honors Businesses

At the Rockland County Volunteer Firemen's Association Meeting held on December 13, 2013, two local businesses were recognized for their support to the county fire service.

Rockland County Fire Prevention Committee Chairman Joseph Hunt and Vice Chairperson Gail Moggio presented the Higgins Funeral Home and Lowes of Nanuet with appreciation plaques for their businesses' generous donations to the county smoke detector program. Also in attendance were President Paul Schlegel of the Rockland County Firemen's Association and President Harold Straut of the Rockland County Fire Chief's Association.
